Little Bridges # 1265 Standon Steps Traditional Geocache

Another traditional cache in this delightful series which is so suited to Dartmoor. This long bridge is over the River Tavy which is the major river on Dartmoor. Its source is way up under Cut Hill and then flows through the magnificent Tavy Cleave before passing through Tavistock and eventually joins the River Tamar just north of Plymouth.

I would like to thank the Dartmoor National Park Authority for their kind permission to place this cache, which has been placed according to the geocaching guidelines.

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire.
