This is Dawg's favorite place to hike near Denver. She knows the
trails in this park like the back of her paw!
The round-trip hike to this cache is about 5 miles along well
marked trails if you take the shortest route. There is
approximately 1200 feet to climb to get to this cache. Dawg says it
is well worth the climb for several reasons: There are plenty of
pretty things to see along the trail and there are awesome views
for her humans. Best of all, there are lots of things to sniff! The
cache is about 50 feet off the trail and you are looking for a
small ammo can.
After you find the cache, be sure to continue along the trail
another 500 feet for some scenic views of Metro Denver. There are
lots of picnic spots and photo ops in the area.
