geocachingmagazin: Der Event am See ist nun schon eine Weile vorbei. Wir hoffen, es hat euch genauso viel Spaß gemacht wie uns. Aufgund der sehr, sehr positiven Resonanz freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Event am See 2019. Wir bitten euch alle TBs und Coins, die ihr mitgenommen habt auch entsprechend zu behandeln. Bei uns hier gibt es keinen Trackable mehr, wir haben si alle beim Event unter die Cacher gebracht. Ich möchte mich auch hier noch einmal bei allen Helfern ganz, ganz herzlich bedanken, vor allem auch bei denen, die kurzfistig eingesprungen sind: Eine spitzen Leistung! Jetzt wird es Zeit fürs Archiv. Natülich könnt ihr den Event weiterhin loggen.

Eight years of Geocaching Magazine
Als Location dient uns auch in 2018 erneut der idyllische Badesee und Biergarten Vogel, der uns Cacher schon öfter als Gäste begrüßen durfte und der bislang bei allen unseren Treffen sehr gut angekommen ist.

Wir starten bereits am Freitag mit einer Get Together Party mit Jam Session. Am Samstag findet der Hauptevent statt. Neben zahlreichen Caches könnt ihr an einer Vielzahl von Workshops teilnehmen. Auch für Kinder gibt es ein tolles Programm: Cacherrellay, Quiz, Hüpfburg und natürlich der tolle Badesee. Wie in jeden Jahr könnt ihr euch auf eine vorzügliche Verkostung zu kleinen Preisen freuen. Jeder Besucher nimmt automatisch an einem Gewinnspiel teil, das am Abend ausgelost wird. Den Tag lassen wir gemütlich mit Livemusik ausklingen.

     We will also extend the celebrations to last an entire weekend, starting with a get-together party on Friday evening. On Saturday the event takes place. In addition to numerous caches, you can participate in a variety of workshops. Also for children there is a great program: Cacherrellay, quiz, bouncy castle and of course the great lake. As in every year you can look forward to an excellent tasting at low prices. Each visitor automatically participates in a raffle that will be drawn in the evening. We let the day end comfortably with live music..

As in the past, our location in 2018 will be the idyllic bathing lake and beer garden "Vogel", who has welcomed us cachers several times now and has always been well-liked by everyone.

Competition in the afternoon
Als besonderes Schmanckerl werden an diesem Nachmittag mit Luma-Paddeln und Tauziehen durchgeführt. Den Gewinnern winken viel Ehre und Hochachtung.

     A special feature will be our caching sports contest in the afternoon. The winners will be awarded fame and respect.
Für alle, die mit dem Zelt oder dem Wohnmobil anreisen und übernachten wollen, stellen wir um das Gelände Platz zur Verfügung. Wir bitten um Platzreservierung über die Eventseite.
     For those of you travelling by motorhome or planning on pitching a tent, there will be spaces around the event premises where you can stay the night. We ask for reservation via event page
Die Event-Location findet ihr mitten im Rhein-Main-Gebiet. Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz und Wiesbaden liegen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Entsprechend viel Geocaches gibt es in der Region, darunter auch wirkliche Cache-High-Lights. Der internationale Flughafen Frankfurt (30 Kilometer entfernt) und auch der Flughafen Hahn (110 Kilometer entfernt) für Billig-Airlines sind die Zielflughäfen, wenn ihr aus dem entfernten Ausland zu unserem Event anreist. .
   The event is located centrally within the Rhine-Main region, not far away from the cities of Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Mainz and Wiesbaden. The cache density is high and includes some veritable geocaching highlights. Foreign cachers travelling to our event by plane will find Frankfurt Airport (FRA) conveniently located at 30 kilometres (19 miles) distance and Frankfurt Hahn Airport (HHN), which is serviced by low-budget airlines, at 110 kilometres (68 miles). .
