Geocache Description:

This should be an easy cache to find. Short 200-yard walk slightly uphill. Accessible by 2x4 almost all year round.

No matter how tempting it may be, do not stop on the freeway!!! Stopping on the freeway is illegal and stopping HERE is just asking for trouble. One of the favorite speed traps in the area is just 200 yards from the cache. The best access is from the frontage road. Using the frontage road will prevent legal troubles and also will eliminate the need to climb a deer fence. Although the frontage road is a bit bumpy, it is passable by any vehicle. (weather permitting) The closest access is about 2 miles south of the cache at exit 100, at exit 100 use the frontage road east of the Fwy. Or from the north, use exit 109, use the frontage road west of the Fwy. Look for an ammo can.

7/28/01 Well, I just got back from a week of Geocaching. Once again it's funny to see the different ways that people interpret the star system for terrain. So I thought that I would add this to each of my geocache sites for clarification. For "MAGNUM'S INTERPRETATION" of the terrain coding, go to BEAVER OVERLOOK. I hope that it helps in your planning the trip. (I.E. Do I leave the wife/husband and younger kids at home on this one
