Birthday Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache is a more advanced. With the steep hills and the long duration of the hike it shoudl be navigated by at least intermediate hikers. The view at the top of this hike is phenomenal with sweeping panoramas of the entire valley. From the Maple trail you can get a view of the Green Canyon into the Bridger-Teton National Forest as well as glimpses into the Valley View Trail.

This cache is called the Birthday Cache because I placed it on my 13th birthday at our summer home.

Parking is on Green Canyon Dr. in Star Valley, Wyoming.

From parking, walk up Green Canyon Dr. and the trailhead is on the left.

Once on the trail, there is a fork which allows you to choose from the easier Valley View Trail or the more difficult Maple Trail.

Recomended supplies are

1. Water

2. Sunscreen

3. Bug spray

4. Trinket for exchange
