On behalf of all the members of TeamMetricTime we are extremely honored to have been granted this limited edition Virtual Cache to publish! We spent quite a while thinking over what we wanted to do, and how we wanted to do it. In the end we all kept gravitating to the historical side and wanted to find someone unique to be the subject of this cache.
We decided to pay homage to our city founder, Nathaniel Rochester. A former soldier in the Revolutionary War, among other things, he was also interested in acquiring land. In 1800 Nathaniel traveled to New York State to the lands along the upper portion of the Genesee River. Eventually he established a settlement known as Rochesterville. Later, when Nathaniel helped to establish Monroe County, Rochesterville had grown in population and was given the name it has today, Rochester.

In order to claim a find for this cache visit the listed coordinates and take note of the following:
- How many times does the word Rochester appear on the plaque at the main entrance to the park?
- How many buttons are on Nathaniel's coat?
- How many brown squares are there on the table?
- To prevent logging without visiting, take a picture of yourself with the statue or area in the background. If you are camera shy, feel free to simply take a picture with your hand in the "thumbs up" position. Please try to avoid any direct spoiler pics.
