Villingen gehört zu den zwölf Städten in Deutschland und der Schweiz, die die sogenannten Zähringerstädte bilden. Zu den ursprünglichen Gemeinsamkeiten gehören u.a. die einheitliche Rechtsprechung, größtmögliche Freiheit für die Bürger und auch der typische Stadtgrundriss, mit dem sog. Zähringer-Straßenkreuz: Zwei Straßenzüge kreuzen sich annähernd rechtwinklig und teilen das Stadtgebiet somit in vier Quartiere auf. In Villingen sind dies von West nach Ost: Riet- und Bickenstraße und von Süd nach Nord: Niedere- und Obere Straße.
Umgeben war die heutige "Innenstadt" einst von einer durchgängigen Wehranlage mit Stadtmauer und den vier Stadttoren: Niederetor, Oberetor, Bickentor und Riettor. Heute existieren noch drei davon. 1846 wurde das Niederetor abgerissen und aus den Steinen das Bezirksstrafgericht (heute Amtsgericht) sowie das Gefängnis gebaut. Mittlerweile stehen vier große Leuchten am ursprünglichen Platz des Niederentores und symbolisieren das einstige vierte Stadttor.

Eure Aufgabe: Seid kreativ! Macht ein Foto von der Location (stadteinwärts- oder stadtauswärts ist egal), auf der EIN TURMERSATZ ZU SEHEN IST! Ob gemalt oder ein Gegenstand hingehalten oder.... Wie gesagt: es ist eure Kreativität gefragt. Macht das Foto vor Ort. Wie sieht das Tor bei euch aus?? Das Bild an das Log anhängen - und das war es schon!
Ich möchte darauf hinweisen, dass ich Logs ohne Bilder löschen werde - und da es leider immer wieder vorkommt, auch Logs, die einfach nur ein Foto der Location zeigen. Es ist ziemlich anstrengend, jede und jeden nochmal extra anzuschreiben und die Antwort abzuwarten...

Villingen is one of the twelve cities in Germany and Switzerland, the so-called „Zähringerstädte“ (cities controlled or built by the old German noble family of Zaehringer). The original common features include e.g. the uniform jurisprudence, the greatest possible freedom for the citizens and also the typical urban layout, with the „Zaehringer-Straßenkreuz“, what means a certain form of crossroads: Two streets intersect at approximately right angles and divide the city into four quarters. In Villingen these are from West to East: „Rietstrasse“[proper noun] and „Bickenstrasse“[proper noun] and from South to North: „Niederestrasse“ (Lower Street) and „Oberestrasse“ (Upper Street) (That are the names of the roads). The current "inner city" was once surrounded by a continuous weir system with city walls and the four city gates: „Niederetor“, „Oberetor“, „Bickentor“ and „Riettor“. Today there are only three of them left. In 1846, the Niederetor was demolished and with these stones, the district criminal court (now district court) and the prison was built. Meanwhile, four large lights stand at the original place of the gate „Niederetor“ and symbolize the former fourth city gate.

Your task: Be creative! Take a photo of the location (the direction in which you make the photo does not matter - from wheter side the four lamps), where a GATE REPLACEMENT can be seen! Whether painted or an object held out or .... As I said: your creativity is in demand. Make a on site photo. How could the city gate look like at your fantasy? Attach the image to the log - and that's it!
I would like to point out that I will delete logs without pictures - and since it happens again and again, also logs that simply show a photo of the location. It is quite exhausting to write to each and every one of them separately and wait for the answer ...
