Geocache Description:

This is the terminus for the Wisbech to Outwell tram which ran from 1883 until closure in 1966. The trams on this line were the inspiration for the character of Toby the Tram in the Thomas the Tank Engine books, which were penned by the Rev'd W. Awdry who was the vicar of the nearby church in Emneth

To claim this virtual you need to email or message me the date and letters in white writing on the river side of the monument. Pictures of your visit here are also welcome.
