The Flagstaff Floatilla IV - Be a Pirate will begin at the boat launch on Route 27 and proceed under the under the bridge and into Flagstaff Lake. Decorate your boat, canoe or kayak or other vessel of your choice with lights of your choice. We'll arrange to have a group photo taken from the Rt 27 Bridge. The length of the trip will depend on the weather and lake conditions but it will be held rain or shine.
There are a few caches in the west branch of the Dead River that folks may wish to attempt prior to the event. A floating prze island will be established in the lake and will serve as the group's destination.
Come join the fun and either watch from the landing or be a participant. Appropriate safety gear and PFDs are required. Prizes will be handed out for the best decorated vessels for creativity and originality. Looking forward to all joining in on the fun.
