Geocache Description:

*** This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates***

I'm slowly building a series of these caches, be sure to find the first cache in this series: I Love Minnesota

I love the state of Minnesota and I wanted to create a puzzle cache with some Minnesota based questions.  You do not need to visit the posted coordinates site, this puzzle can be done virtually before heading to the final coordinates.  Though the cache is not at the posted coordinates, this spot is the Minnesota History Museum and offers lots of great information about our state.  Answer the puzzle below and plug in the appropriate numbers and soon you will be headed in the right direction of the final location. Look for a view of the State Capitol building when you get to the final location. BYOP - Replace as found or better.

*** Final coordinates: N044 57.ABC W093 06.DEF ***

A: The infamous 'Halloween Blizzard' occurred this year crippling the area with its ice storm and over two feet of snow.
A = the last digit of that year.

B: Minnesota's state capital was almost moved to the town of St. Peter, but this politician stole the bill and went into hiding and disappeared for the rest of the session, not returning until it was too late to pass any more bills.  Saint Paul remained as the state capital.  B = the number of vowels in this politician's last name.

C: What is the two part name of the famous horse that lived in Minnesota.  This horse has a street named after it in the Minnesota State Fairgrounds as well as a festival named in honor of it in the city of Savage, Mn.  C = the number of letters in the name of this horse.

D: The state of Minnesota has an official state photograph.  It was taken by Eric Enstrom around the year 1920. It was designated as the official state photograph in 2002.  D = The number of letters in the name of this photograph - 1.

E: While working for the Dayton company, John F. Geisse developed the concept of upscale discount retailing. On May 1, 1962 the very first Target was opened.  The original building was torn down, but a SuperTarget now exists on this property.  E = The number of letters in the name of the city where the first Target was built.

F:  Minnesota has an official state muffin.  F = The number of letters in the name of the official state muffin of Minnesota (do not include the word muffin).

I decided to add an answer checker to this one to add extra confidence at the final spot. To check your answer, type in the 6 numbers you figured out i.e. ABCDEF

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Just like in the first of this cache series, the FTF will get a Minnesota themed sticker.

congrats to the FTF and FTS: sparkyfry
