Very Close to Kistufell. This cache is in an area that is not accessible during the winter months.
On road F910 (section closest to Vatnajokull) Head towards Kistufell. About 50 feet off the road you will see an American Quarter it shining at you. Plastic box visibly under a rock. Contents include a patch, paper and pen. Sorry so little in it, it was a spur of the moment cache.
Thanks for taking care of it. Can anyone tell me if this really is the oldest cache in Iceland?
