About Radyr Station
Radyr is a busy station on the outskirts of Cardiff on the lines to Merthyr Tydfil, Treherbert and Aberdare. It is also the terminus of the City line. The City line trains run to Coryton which is only three quarters of a mile away as the crow flies but 10 miles by train via Fairwater, Cardiff Central and Heath Low Level. A major redevelopment of the station has recently been undertaken to improve accessibility to those with impaired mobility and has now been completed.
All local trains serve Radyr station as little as 5-10 minutes apart in both directions and there is now a 177 space park and ride car park just outside the station on De Clare Drive which is free to use and open to all.
