Lustleigh Trail No. 3 Traditional Geocache
Annabel_Callan: Owner maintenance is needed but unable to be provided currently. Sadly, the Lustleigh Trail series has had to be archived as the upkeep of the caches has become too onerous. Maybe someone else will be able to proved a cache trail for the village?!

This is a lovely walk beginning in the picturesque Dartmoor village of Lustleigh. It has 4 geocaches along the way and its total length is approximately 2.5km, which could take anywhere from 30 minutes to many more! To begin, park in the village centre and head through The Orchard, where the first cache can be found and the wonderful carved May Rock can be seen. Enter the woods at the rear end of The Orchard where a beautiful stone bridge straddles the stream which is strewn with giant boulders. After finding the second cache here, the route doubles back through The Orchard and the circular walk begins now: heading along Mill Lane and down through the gorgeous green woodland, over the wooden bridge (also the finish line of the annual Lustleigh Boxing Day Duck Race), up through a sheep field, along Wreyland Path, skirting the border of the cricket field, and finally back up into the centre of the village where the church stands proud. [Note: There are no caches along the end of the route (in the sheep field, along Wreyland Path or in the village centre) - this is because there are several cache clues around here that are part of the Church Micro series, so feel free to begin at the church and also do this Multi Cache while you're exploring Lustleigh!] Enjoy :)
