After having a great time at Amazing Race Season 2 - Eisenhower Park, I was anxiously awaiting Season 3. However, due to a very busy schedule, CelloFellow was not able to put things together, so I reached out to him to see if he would be okay with Matt and myself picking up where he left off. He graciously passed over the reigns and we hosted Season 3 at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford. Ever since that day we wanted to do another Race, but sometimes life gets in the way. But now three short years later, we are ready to race again!
The Amazing Race is a reality TV game show in which teams of two people, who have some form of a pre-existing personal relationship, race around the world in competition with other teams. Clues provided during the race lead the teams to the next destination or direct them to perform a task, either together or by a single member. We have taken this concept and conformed it into a geocaching-type version.
We would like to have teams of 2-4 people and there is no limit to the number of teams that can race. If you know who will be on your team, please let us know. If you need a team, let us know that too. We will make sure that we get you onto a team. All geocachers are welcome regardless of age and/or geo-experience!
If you want to attend the event, but you don't want to race, let us know that too. We could use help on the course and at the finish line if you are interested. And if you just want to show up and hang out, that is fine too!
