Geocache Description:

A short walk through Longtimber woods in the small town of Ivybridge.

This is a series of 8 caches alongside the river Erme in this beautiful wood. There are a few more that you can grab along route that others have placed. It is a beautiful walk along this river and it always offers something different to see. It’s also a pathway onto the moors, it's popular with dog walkers, hikers, leisure seekers and children who often use the river in the summer to cool off. This is an easy walk alongside the river it is just over 3 miles, and although it’s just possible to push a pram or a wheelchair along the path after the 4th cache it gets very rocky and very muddy. To get to the last cache means crossing stiles. The containers vary in size and you will need tweezers. There is no room for trackables or swaps in any of the caches apart from the last cache. Cache number 8 is a treasure chest containing swappables. Please swap thoughtfully! Hopefully you will find this series enjoyable as we have tried to make the containers interesting and perhaps a little frustrating at times, but most of all fun! We hope you will take pleasure in these beautiful woods and surroundings. Tree coverage has made coordinates a bit difficult in places. Please see hints and if you are still struggling don’t hesitate to contact me. Please replace exactly as found. Thank you.
