After my first cache that was placed in a very remote spot, this presents my second. A less remote spot with a very spectacular view. It is situated near the Morteratsch gletcher and the walk to it can give a spectacular view to it as well as to some 3000+ mountains such as the Piz Bernina. The altitude of the cache is 2033 M.
A good starting point can be the Morteratsch railway station. Unless you use climbing gear to climb straight up the cliff at some point, you will probably reach the cache using a hiking track. The cache is located at the mountainside of this track. So there is no need to walk near the cliff’s side paying more attention to your GPS than your feet. The cliffs are very nice and are often used for alpine climbing training. Ascent from the Morteratsch station is about 200M during a 1.5KM walk.

Be cautious when leaving the marked hiking tracks and use good hiking shoes please.
