Geocache Description:

2017 MGS TRIVIA PARTY

Saturday, November 4th
1 to 4pm

Desert Rose Sweet Shop
2 East Potomac Street
Williamsport, MD  21795

Celebrate the Maryland Geocaching Society's 100th EVENT by joining us for an afternoon of socializing and pub-style trivia at the 2017 MGS Geocaching Trivia Party on Saturday, November 4th, at the Desert Rose Sweet Shop in Williamsport, MD. Teams of 2–6 will compete in a lighthearted competition of geocaching knowledge, both general and Maryland-specific. Geocaching-themed prizes will be awarded to the three highest-scoring teams.

The doors will open at 12:30pm and the trivia will begin at 1:30pm. Trivia should run less than two hours with the event ending at 4pm. Plenty of street parking is available. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Desert Rose Cafe. All are invited, however children must be accompanied by an adult.

Feel free to post in the Trivia Party thread on the MGS Forums to organize teams, but don't worry if you don't have a team formed ahead of time; teams can be formed on the spot before trivia begins.

UPDATE (30 OCT):
Please note that the location has changed from the Williamsport Moose Lodge to the Desert Rose Sweet Shop due to the limited number of will-attends. Moving this event to a smaller venue will save the MGS the cost of rental for a large space we do not need. The new venue seats about 30 people.
