Geocache Description:

The 15th Annual Lacy GeoCaching Event (rain or shine)

You and your family are invited to the 15th annual GeoCaching Event by the Lacy Family.

Once again it is at the Nancytown Group Campground which is located in the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area near Cornelia, GA. Create and enjoy your favorite cook out food, mixed with some GPS fun thrown in. Then spend a night or two if you want.

This event will be all day Saturday Oct 7, 2017, beginning at 10am until dark, or overnight if you like. As past attends know, the event will be held rain or shine.

All activities are optional. You can take part in just one or two or any combination or all of them. If you just want to stop by socialize for awhile that is fine.

Each person or group is asked to bring a sack lunch. If you are spending the night, don't forget to bring your coffee and donuts, for Sunday morning.

For Saturday night there will be potluck meal, each family or group is responsible for bringing their own favorite camp food and cooking skills for you or your family to enjoy. We will eat around the evening camp fire that we will have for everybody to enjoy. We will set around the fire and tell some tall tales, and maybe somebody will tell a scary story.

You should try to bring everything you need but civilization is close by. There are toilets in the campground. Unfortunately there is no water here. You can either bring it with you or go to the Lake Russell Campground and get some there.

If you are real gun ho outdoor people, you are invited to camp with us overnight either Friday or Saturday or both. Things to bring will include heavy bed cover because the mountain nights in October may be cool or hot. Bring your tent and camping gear, and join the fun. But do come prepared for the weather.

Games

Bubba, Johnnie, Robert and I are still working on the main game. But Bubba isn't being much use as he is having trouble with little Bubba and rest of his kids.
