Event Summery
Location: Lake Isabella, Quarry Bluff Shelter
Date/Time: July 9th, 2017
Parking: Parking is FREE for OKIC members during the Picnic. Just let the parking attendant know you are here for the OKIC Geocaching Picnic.
Food: Pot luck! as you log your will attend (or post a note) please let us know what dish you plan to bring.
SCHEDULE (Tentative):
- 12pm - Arrival Socialize.
- 2pm - Lunch is served.
- 3:30pm - OKIC Info, Voting and Elections.
- 4pm - End
Event Flow
The event is being held at Great Parks of Hamilton County's Isabella Lake. We are next to the playground and restrooms with the lake and Little Miami River within a short walking distance.
Keeping in tradition, the event is potluck style! Please do not feel obligated to bring a dish, this is totally optional. If you do plan to bring a dish, please include this in your "Will Attend" or "Post a Note" comment.
OKIC Group information updates, voting on new by-laws and new steering committee board members will take place at the end of the event.

History
First held on Aug 26th 2001 in Embshoff Park as a way to annually bring "Greater Cincinnati Area" geocachers together. Now in its 17th year and credited as the 3rd oldest annual Geocaching event in the world. (source)
