Um es mit den Worten der Wuppertalbewegung, der treibenden Kraft hinter der Nordbahntrasse auszurücken:
Von West nach Ost erstreckt sich die Nordbahntrasse über fast 23 Kilometer quer durch das Wuppertaler Stadtgebiet. Sie verbindet die Ballungszentren Vohwinkels, Elberfelds und Barmens miteinander. Wie an einer Perlenschnur aufgereiht befinden sich zahlreiche Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten entlang des Streckenverlaufs.
Ein paar dieser Höhepunkte gilt es zu finden, zu erkunden oder zu betrachten.

Was Ihr für diesen Cache benötigt, ist das Nordbahntrassen-Roadbook.
Achtung: Als Geocachebesitzer versichere ich, dass diese Datei sicher ist. Sie wurde aber weder von Groundspeak, noch von einer Reviewerin/einem Reviewer auf schädlichen Inhalt überprüft. Du lädst diese Datei auf Dein eigenes Risiko herunter.
Es gibt nun zwei Möglichkeiten:
1.: Ihr druckt Euch das Roadbook aus, oder
2.: Ihr ladet es Euch auf's Smartphone oder Tablet
und fahrt oder geht damit die Nordbahntrasse entlang
An den vorgegeben Stationen sucht ihr nach einem der Bilder und notiert die Zahl darauf zur Station.
Falls es für diese Station zusätzlich eine Aufgabe geben sollte, notiert den gefragten Wert zum Buchstaben.
Mit den ermittelten Werten könnt Ihr dann am Ende mit Hilfe der Formeln das Finale peilen, bzw. die Koords errechnen. Die Zahlenkombination für das Schloss am Behälter lässt sich über eine kleine Addition einiger Werte ermitteln.
Die letzten Meter sind aber für alles mit Rädern dran ungeeignet!
Einige Streckenabschnitte führen durch ein Naturschutzgebiet, die offiziellen Wege müssen und dürfen dort zu keiner Zeit verlassen werden.

The Nordbahntrasse is a former railway-track, converted into a route for pedestrians, bikers, rollerbladers… To say it with the words of the planners of the Nordbahntrasse:
From west to east, the Nordbahnstrasse covers almost 23 kilometers across the Wuppertal urban area. It connects the conurbations of Vohwinkel, Elberfelds and Barmens. Like a string of pearls, there are numerous attractions and sights along the route.
Some of these attractions, but also little things along the way you have to find an to take a closer look at.
It does not matter if you start at S01 or S14, you have to take the route long... The final is located in the western quarter of the route.

What you need for this cache is the Nordbahntrassen-Roadbook.

Now you have the choice:
1.: Print out the Roadbook, or
2.: Download it on your smartphone or tablet-pc
and walk or ride along the Nordbahntrasse.
At the given waypoints you’ll have to look for one of the photos and note the number on it, according to the waypoint.
If there is an additionally clue, you note the questioned number.
With these determined Numbers you can calculate the final or can bear it from a given position. The combination for the lock at the container is also calculated with the given data.
