Where:
Come and join us in the Railway Vue on Station Road in Histon - a large village close to the A1049 north of Cambridge and just off the A14. It really does have a 'railway view' and the old buildings of Histon Station can be seen from the pub, as can the rebuilt level crossing gatekeeper's hut. The old track bed is now used by the Cambridge Guided Busway, and you can still walk along a footpath by the side of where the old track used to be. There is also a REALLY SideTracked cache within a stone's throw of the venue. GC5VH97

When:
We have arranged with the landlord to have a reserved area indoors from 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday 10 August. There is also a small outside area in front of the pub with tables if the weather is good. There is traditional British pub food available from 6.00 till 9.00pm (please say in your 'Will Attend' log if you will be eating, and how many of you, as we need to give the landlord an idea of numbers in advance).

What to do:
Come and stay for the whole time or just pop in for a quick visit and meet cachers from nearby and further afield, and swap stories (especially SideTracked ones) and chat. Bring TB's for swapping or discovering (we'll have the usual couple of boxes handy) - and don't forget to 'drop them' on the event page using a 'Write Note' before you arrive. We hope to bring our SideTracked TB's for discovery. And we may have been able to get hold of some of the really special 10th Anniversary Geocoins (please let us know if you are interested to give us an idea of how many to try for).
Who knows? There may even be a new cache to find?? Or a puzzle to solve??
Parking:
There is a small car park at the side of the pub, but there is also a small amount of nearby on-street parking behind the pub.
