To get into the church you have to first get the key from either the bakery, the tourist office or the permanent exhibition space opposite the church, "la vitrine communale".
The crypt pre-dates the church that you see today. It belongs to an older church built on the same site. It is one of the few pre-Romanesque works in France that have survived to our day. Some of the columns have Carolingian style carvings.
Pour entrer dans l'église vous devez d'abord chercher la clé à la boulangerie, à l'office de tourisme ou à l'exposition permanente en face de l'église, la vitrine communale.
La crypte appartient à une église plus ancienne, construite sur le même site, que celle que vous voyez aujourd'hui. Elle est une des rares oeuvres d'origine préromane ayant été préservées en France. Quelques unes des ces colonnes sont de l'époque carolingienne.
