This event will take place on Sunday the 6th August between 1215 and 1530.
As the week continues to wind down, this is your opportunity to meet the whole Yorkshire 2018 committee, find out some of our plans for the week and perhaps get one or two purple products. (No purchase necessary. But gratefully received, obviously...)
We would be delighted if you would join us on the beach for a picnic or a barbecue. We have permission from East Devon District Council to use disposable barbecues on the beach providing we fully extinguish them with sea water and then take the rubbish away with us. Importantly, we are not permitted to fill the council bins with disposable barbecues. Alternatively, there is a permanent barbecue area available at The Maer Nature Reserve over the road from this stretch of beach.
As you might expect from this committee, there will be a raffle, with any prizes welcomed!
We are really looking forward to meeting lots of you and are bursting with anticipation to start to showcase our region.

Following this event, in the evening, we will be providing the entertainment in the Bicton College Marquee. The vibe will very much be pub games, so expect quizzes, bingo, maybe even a beetle drive. Do join us back on the site.
