AURORA 1 Traditional Geocache

The cache is locating beside the Aurorapolku Trail starting almost in the centrum of Saariselkä. The cache Area is inside Urho Kekkonen National Park. SO REMEMBER THE HIKING RULES IN NATIONAL PARK AND RESPECT THE NATURE.

Aurorapolku on 2.1 km:n mittainen reitti, jolla korkeusero on 35 m. Reitin korkeimmalle kohdalle on rakennettu näköalatasanne taukotupineen ja huoltorakennuksineen. Siellä on myös tulentekopaikka. Reitti lähtee Saariselän keskustan vierestä, Luttojoen varrelta. Talvella voit ihailla reitiltä revontulia ja kesällä yötöntä yötä. Aurorapolku Trail is 2,1 km long hiking trail, starting just beside the centrum of Saariselkä. The altitude difference is 35 m. There is on the top of the trail a wilderness hut, a campfire site, firewood shed and dry toilets. Remember, You are inside the National Park having tight hiking rules.
