This cache is in the Redhouse section of Allegany State Park. Please be aware that there is an entrance fee collected from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The cache is located near the Bova Ski area and parking is allowed anywhere along the dirt road leading to this area.
The coordinates listed will take you to the start of the trail. A closer look at the first Trail Tag will show that the tag is not a perfect circle but has a pointer. This pointer will indicate the direction of travel. Follow the pointer to the next tag and you will soon have the smiley. Green tags will lead you to the cache and white tags will lead you back back to your car. The trail in is not the same as the trail out.
On the way out you will pass an old beaver pond on your left. If the moon is out take the time to just the beauty of the area.
