Geocache Description:

This is my first attempt at hiding a cache of my own.  And what better place then where you can be own your own little Island.

ACCESS IS BY WATER ONLY.  

THERE IS NO PUBLIC ACCESS BY LAND

Maps have not been updated now the the lake is full. It may not look like it online, but this cache is on a island only accessible by boat.

 

This cache is located on the newly filled Lake Mooney. Its located on one of the few islands on the lake. The island is public property, and you will have to disembark to get to it.  The island is covered with thorn bushes and wild life (lots of ticks)so plan a little bush whacking.  Possibly may need tweezers to remove log, bring a pair and a pen to sign it. And please remember to place everything back exactly like it was for the next person to enjoy.

 

I have added a way point for the best spot to land a boat on the island.
