Eglise - Tribehou Traditional Geocache

Tribehou connut la chapelle St Côme et St Damien dans les années 1200, puis l'église St Anne vers 1670. Après la Révolution, la population augmentant nettement, iI fallait agrandir l’église, le projet fut approuvé en 1835 par l’administration préfectorale. La construction de l’église actuelle dura jusqu’en 1870, celle-ci n’a depuis subi que peu de modifications. L'ancien maître-autel, inscrit aux Monuments historiques, date du XVIIIe s.

Tribehou knew the chapel of St Como and St Damien in the 1200s, then the church of St Anne around 1670. After the Revolution, the population increased markedly, the church had to be enlarged, and the project was approved in 1835 by the prefectoral administration. The construction of the present church lasted until 1870, which has since undergone only a few modifications. The former high altar, listed in the Historic Monuments, dates from the 18th century.
