Der erste Botanische Garten in Kiel wurde 1669 als „hortus medicus“ im Schlossgarten angelegt und gilt somit als sechstältester Deutschlands. Es folgten Gärten an den Standorten Falckstraße (1727) und Prüne (1803). Alle diese Gärten existieren nicht mehr und wurden nach ihrer Aufgabe überbaut. Heute gibt es noch zwei Botanische Gärten in Kiel, sinnigerweise als Alter Botanischer Garten und Neuer Botanischer garten genannt.
Dieses kleine Rätsel beschäftigt sich mit dem Alten Botanischen Garten. Eine sehr schöne Location, in der wir mit GC11ET4 unseren ersten Fund gemacht haben. Leider ist dieser Cache mittlerweile archiviert.

The first botanical garden in Kiel was designed as a "hortus medicus" in the Schlossgarten in 1669 and is thus the sixth-oldest in Germany. Gardens followed at Falckstraße (1727) and Prüne (1803). All these gardens no longer exist and were overbuilt after being abandoned. Today, there are still two botanical gardens in Kiel, called the Old Botanical Garden and the New Botanical Garden.
This little puzzle deals with the Old Botanical Garden. A very nice location, where we made our first find with GC11ET4. Unfortunately, this cache is now archived.
Here at the old pavilion we made our first find, ever. Even today, the trip to the Alter Botanischer Garten is worthwhile not only because of the beautiful view over the Kiel harbor but also because of the traditional cache GC4XBGD.
