A congregational Chapel was formed in Cam in 1662 and the present building was erected in 1702 on land donated by a local businessman. The congregation was originally regarded as Presbyterian. The building was considerably altered in 1818 and later a Sunday-school was added, which now constitutes the greater part of the building.
3C Community Church was formed in 2008 when Cam Congregational Church joined with the Cotswold Community Church.
