Seven Sisters of the Sea
The cache is not at the listed coordinates. Please read on to learn how to find it.
This is the final cache in a series of eight on the North Oregon Coast. In order to determine its location, you will need to find a clue from each of the Seven Sisters caches in the series. They are:
Marina the Mariner
(Astoria - Field puzzle)
Elvira the Elemonator
(Fort Stevens - Solve-at-home)
Concordia Oceanus 2
(Warrenton - Field puzzle)
Pacifica of the Four Winds
(Gearhart - Field puzzle)
Seasha of the Northern Shore
(Cannon Beach - Multi)
Skyla Above All
(Arcadia Beach - Traditional)
Yggdrasil Northwest
(Oswald West State Park - Solve-at-home puzzle)
The caches are listed from north to south along the Coast. The fact that they are also alphabetical was an amazing coincidence and not planned.
This should make for an ambitious(!) one-day road trip, or a more relaxed multi-day trip. Walking and moderate (but short) hiking is required.
Warning: Although short, the hike to this final cache is steep and has some exposure to drop-offs. Be sure to wear boots and watch children and dogs closely. That said, the location is beyond spectacular and well worth the effort.
The final is a bit further south of the Seven Sister caches, so traveling north to south would be a good bet.
After visiting the seven caches listed and collecting the clues, here's how to proceed:
Add the seven clue numbers to get XXXX.
Add 3,046 to XXXX to get YYYY.
The cache is at:
N 45 4X.XXX
W 123 5Y.YYY
