Diversi event e cache ci hanno portato a scoprire la Lessina e i suoi boschi, i suoi scorci e la sua cultura. È il momento quindi di scoprire un'altro lato di questa terra ricca di fascino: il sottosuolo. La Lessinia è un altopiano carsico e come tale ricchissimo di grotte e cavità.
Una di queste è la grotta di Monte Capriolo (link), l'unica grotta turistica della Lessinia. Il panorama sotterraneo è altrettanto affascinante e ricco quanto quello in superficie e qui ne scopriremo uno dei migliori esempi.
Naturalmente è presente una geocache da trovare: GC3K0PX e molte altre nelle vicinanze.
Vi porteremo quindi a scoprire questo patrimonio dei nostri monti e conoscere un particolare abitante delle profondità.
Non mancherà naturalmente un momento gastronomico come per ogni event che si rispetti ;)
Il luogo scelto per la parte mangereccia è Malga Vazzo (link) che ci osptierà per il pranzo offrendoci un menù sopraffino.
Programma
h10.00 ritrovo a GZ
h10.15 inizio visita guidata (2,5€/persona), non ci sono difficoltà particolari, la grotta è attrezzata con scale e passerelle di cemento. Si consiglia di indossare un maglione, la temperatura interna della grotta è di circa 8-10 °C, e scarpe chiuse.
h10.45 inizio secondo giro di visite se il numero di partecipanti lo richiede.
h12.00 pranzo presso Malga Vazzo.
h14.00 conclusione dell'evento
Dopo la conclusione dell'evento per chi lo desidera verrà organizzata una gita all'interno di una piccola grotta con geocache inclusa vicino a GZ. La meta è Tana delle Sponde (GC60ZRR) la grotta non è una grotta turistica quindi ci sarà da strisciare e sporcarsi :)
Chi vuole partecipare riceverà ulteriori informazioni separatamente visto che l'esplorazione della Tana delle Sponde è fuori dall'evento.

Several geoevents and caches led us to discover the beauty of Lessina, its landscapes, culture and foods. It is now time to explore another side of it: the undergound. Lessinia is a karst plateau and so is is riddled by caves, one of those is Grotta di Monte Capriolo (link - only in italian sorry) the one and only touristic cave in Lessinia.
The underground landscapes are as beautiful and breathtaking as those on the surface. Here we will discover a great example of this and also we will meet an unusual inhabitant of the undeground...
As usual for our event we also have schedueled a delcious meal afterward. The place will be Malga Vazzo (link) that will feed us traditional dishes.
Schedule:
h10.00 meeting at GZ
h10.15 guided tour of the cave (2,5€ per person). There is no difficult to access the cave, it is equipped with ladders and concrete walkways. It is reccomended to wear a sweatshirt because the temperature inside the cave is around 8/10 °C
h10.45 second guided tour if needed
h12.00 lunch at nearby Malga Vazzo.
h14.00 conclusion of the event
After the event, for those who likes it, will be arranged a visit in a small cave not far from the event location, it will not be a toursitic cave so it will be required to crawl and get dirty ;) but also find a geocache! (GC60ZRR)
Those who intend to attend will recieve more information separately as this will not be part of this event.
