Geocache Description:

Slēpnis atrodas vidēja izmēra ūdensdrošā konteinerā. Tajā atrodams logbook, rakstāmais un lietas apmaiņai.

Vairāk kā 100 gadus vecais Marijas parks atrodas Alojā starp namiem Jūras nr.42 un nr.44. Savulaik no 1920. līdz 1940.gadam šeit bijusi alojiešu iecienīta atpūtas vieta, kur notikušas zaļumballes, rīkoti apkārtnes skolu audzēkņu bērnu svētki ar koru, vingrotāju un dejotāju priekšnesumiem. No ceļa tālākajā malā bija uzcelta estrāde, visapkārt parkam ierīkoti celiņi. Tomēr mūsdienās parkā atrodami vien koki. No estrādes un celiņiem vairs nav ne miņas. Parkam visapkārt ir privātmājas, respektīvi slēpnis atrodas publiskā vietā.
