If you approach the GZ, you will see the big white construction, the Sendai Daikannnon (仙台大観音).
This statue was built in 1990, same year as the 100th anniversary for establishment of Sendai City municipal government.
You can go inside with the fee and view 108 Buddha’s statues. You may also enjoy the view of Sendai from high above.
The container can accomodate small trackable.

言わずと知れた仙台大観音。
仙台市政100周年に合わせて100mの高さにしたとのこと。お陰で、仙台市内中心部からでもちょっと高いところに登ればバッチリ見えます。
以前は足元のショッピングセンターが賑わっていましたが、現在はひっそりとしています。
500円でお札を受け取れば、中に入ることができます。108体の仏像のほか、仙台を眺めることができる小窓(?) があるそうです。
コンテナは小さなアイテムを入れることができます。
