Dönerstag 2017 - Ilha Terceira Event Cache

Convidamos toda a comunidade geocacher a acompanhar a Groundspeak através do Signal the Frog, na sua viagem pelo mundo. A primeira paragem será na Alemanha, onde vai comemorar uma tradição local chamada Dönerstag.

A denominação de Dönerstag está relacionada com o facto de neste país, esta quinta-feira ser conhecida como o dia do kebab, tradição criada em 2007, onde centenas de geocachers encontravam-se no mesmo dia e à mesma hora em diversos locais onde estivesse disponível esta saborosa iguaria turca.

A tradução de Dönerstag é Döner = Kebab, Tag = dia.

We invite the entire geocacher community to accompany Groundspeak through Signal the Frog as he travels the world. The first stop will be in Germany, where he will celebrate a local tradition called Dönerstag.

Dönerstag's name is related to the fact that in this country this Thursday is known as the kebab day, a tradition created in 2007, where hundreds of geocachers were on the same day and at the same time in several places where it was available this tasty turkish delicacy.

The Dönerstag translation is Döner = Kebab, Tag = day.
