La commune de La Breuchotte est marquée par les restes de deux entreprises industrielles installées sur le site d'anciens moulins à eau: La Féculerie et Les tissages de coton Forel.
Elle fait partie de la Communauté de communes du Pays de Luxeuil et comptait 308 habitants en 2014, les Breuchottois et les Breuchottoises.

La Breuchotte is marked by the remains of two industrial companies installed on the site of old water mills: The Féculerie, cornflour factory, and Forel cotton weaving.
It is part of The Community of Communes of the Pays de Luxeuil. The inhabitants, called Breuchottois and Breuchottoises, were 308 in 2014.
