All Saints church in the village of Milton is situated down a quiet cul-de-sac lane which leads to the East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH). It is very close to Milton Hall, a brick mansion built in 1772, and now used as various offices. The church has a 13th century tower and 14th century arcades, but it seems to have had a lot of restoration and remodelling in the 17th-19th centuries.
Interesting internal features include 17th century altar rails and choir stalls with the figures of a bishop, a man and lion's heads on the armrests, all of which are said to have come from King's College, Cambridge. Also Jacobean panels in the vestry door, a fine 16th century brass set in a floorstone showing Sir William Coke in his judge's robe and mantle, his wife in a pretty flowered headdress, and two sons and three daughters. And look out for pieces of Medieval glass including Flemish roundels of St Margaret and St Catherine.
