LIGHT AND LIFE MISSION, SWINDERBY
The Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built in 1869 and was formally in the Lincoln South circuit.
Note on the outside of the church the holes in the stone where iron railings once stood. These were removed during WWII to be melted down and recycled into planes.
It is unclear when the building was sold off but it is now used by the Light and Life Mission which is a gypsy evangelist Christian movement. The movement is worldwide with this church classed as the Newark base.
I have been unable to find any further detail of the building. If you know any, I would be pleased to hear from you.
