Rochford railway station is on the Shenfield to Southend Line in the East of England, serving the town of Rochford, Essex. It is 38 miles 54 chains (62.2 km) down-line from London Liverpool Street and is situated between Hockley and Southend Airport. Its three-letter station code is RFD. Rochford was formerly the closest railway station to London Southend Airport until the airport's own dedicated station opened in 2011.
The cache is located next to an extremely busy roundabout. Stealth and patience is a must. There is a bench for you to sit on and bide your time, waiting for a gap in the traffic. There is also no designated pedestrian crossing point nearby, so be very careful getting to GZ.
