When we meet: The event will be held on Tuesday February 14th from 8:30pm to 9pm.
Event: During winter 2016/2017 we will have a series of events at locations that are different from the standard meet-and-greet locations we are used to. The events will be situated at locations that have to do with all kinds of transport in Amsterdam. The idea is that we meet as much as possible on places that are warm, dry, and cosy.
Event number 5 is just a another place for meet and greet. At this location we will enjoy to see some of the trams and travellers. We will also enjoy a nice view at the central railway station and the view over big square. We will swap stories and travel bugs. Come join your fellow cachers for a meet and greet. Bringing bugs is not required to attend this event. Make sure you log a note saying "Will Attend" so we can have a good head count for the event.
Location: The station is built on three interconnected artificial islands in the IJ lake. These islands were created with sand taken from the dunes near Velsen, which had become available as a result of the excavation of the North Sea Canal. The islands together are known as Stationseiland (Station Island). Like many other structures in Amsterdam, the station was built on wooden piles (8,687 pieces). We will meet on the little square in front of the tourist office.

Wanneer we elkaar ontmoeten: We zullen elkaar ontmoeten op dinsdag 14 februari van 20:30 tot 21:00 uur.
Event: Gedurende winter 2016/2017 zullen we een serie events hebben op plekken die anders zijn dan de standaardplekken die we gewend zijn. We zullen elkaar ontmoeten zo veel mogelijk op gezellige, veilige en droge plekken.
Het vijfde event is opnieuw een gelegenheid voor meet-en-greet. Op deze plek zien we vele trams en tramreiziger. We genieten van het uitzicht op mooi gebouw en van het uitzicht over een groot plein. We wisselen verhalen en travelbugs uit. Kom en sluit aan om je mede-cachers te ontmoeten. Natuurlijk is het meenemen van travelbugs niet noodzakelijk. Schrijf een will-attend log zodat we een beeld hebben wie gaat komen.
Location: Het station is gebouwd op drie kunstmatige eilanden die onderling verbonden zijn in het IJ. De eilanden zijn gemaakt met zand uit de duinen bij Velsen dat beschikbaar kwam door het graven van het Noordzeekanaal. De eilanden samen zijn bekend als het Stationseiland. Zoals vele andere gebouwen in Amsterdam is ook dit gebouwd op houten palen (8.687 stuks). We ontmoeten elkaar op het pleintje voor de VVV.
