This is the fifth, of hopefully many, new puzzle/mystery caches in the SW FW area. I am going make my best effort to make these new puzzles original; however, it is inevitable I will duplicate an existing idea - that being said, it will be purely unintentional. I'm sure Geocaching's new generation of puzzle solvers is up to the challenge.
With these new caches I am adopting a new style. There will be no intentional red herrings, no oddball methods of presenting coordinates (UTM, for example), and no leaving off the N32 and W97 just to make it more difficult (all things I am personally guilty of). Instead, I'm going to try and concentrate on making the puzzle itself more challenging. We'll see how that goes - let me know, in your notes, what you think - because I want this to also be an enjoyable experience for the participant.
Now for the puzzle...
I've been working lately on solving other puzzles in the area, and I must admit, I've been thrilled by the various complexity of the puzzles out there. It has been exhausing at times, but most of the time, it has been thorougly enjoyable. I'm hoping this puzzle ends up being fairly straight-forward, but as with any puzzle of just "letters" or "numbers", there are lots of potential rabbit holes (thus, making it unintentionally more challenging).
