The Scout Abouts New Year's Resolution Hike Event Cache

The Scout Abouts Are At It Again! Come and join us for a walk through a Winter Wonderland 2pm Sunday January 15th!

Last year The Scout Abouts had a blast sharing our favorite hiking spots with our geocaching friends but when one of us fractured a leg we stopped hosting our hikes. Guess what, after some time off to heal and an overwhelming demand from friends we have made a New Year's resolution to resume our hikes. We will start the year with one of our favorites, The Manchester Cedar Swamp! These beautiful trails meander through the woods and along boardwalks through a rare stand of Atlantic White Cedars as well as through a copse of Giant Rhododendrons. With the snow we have had the swamp should be a wonderful winter wonderland! We look forward to reconnect with old friends, and maybe meet some new ones so come join us at 2 pm January 15th for a nice, enjoyable stroll through the swamp. Please dress for the weather and bring your microspikes as the trails could be a bit icy. See you there!
