Geocache Description:

The County of Annapolis and the "Winter Active” are co-hosting a free day of snowshoeing and Geocaching.

Date: Saturday, January 28, 2017

Time: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Location: Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Park, 232 Granville Street, Bridgetown NS B0S 1C0, Canada

Storm Date is Sunday, January 29, 2017 2-4 p.m. at the same location.


Please join us for a free snowshoeing and geocaching day at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Park located on Highway 1 Bridgetown, Nova Scotia on Saturday January 28th, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm.

We will have free snowshoes available for people to sign out to see if they like snowshoeing!

We will have a limited number of free GPS units available for people to sign out, if they do not have their own. Instructions and demonstrations will be available so that people can learn about geocaching.

There will be some demonstration caches placed around the park for people to try their hand at geocaching but still be close enough to "base camp" to get help if it is necessary. There will be some permanent geocaches placed along the Rails to Trails nearby.

Free Hot Chocolate and Timbits provided by Tim Hortons will be available. There will also be lots of great prizes available to be won!
