The "Little Bridge" lies about halfway on the remote public footpath running from Long Clawson in the northeast to Broughton Hill (near Wartnaby) in the southwest. This particular arm of the River Smite rises in a "chalybeate spring" (or iron-precipitating spring) known as "Holwell Mouth", which issues from the base of the steep Jurassic Limestone escarpment alittle way to the south.
The cache is a camouflaged micro-cache, containing only a log sheet. Therefore, you will need to bring your own pen to sign. Please be considerate of the environment when searching for it, and replace the cache exactly as found.
PLEASE keep dogs on leads, as some of the fields the paths go through contain livestock..
