The little church has a bellcote rather than a tower. "The church is an ancient granite building in the Early Perpendicular style, which was restored in 1863/1864; it comprises a chancel, nave, and north aisle". The font is Norman, square and plain.

The parish church is located in OS Grid Square SX2583 and was dedicated to St Michael and All Angels. The church is an ancient granite building in the Early Perpendicular style, which was restored in 1863/1864; it comprises a chancel, nave, and north aisle. The arcade consists of four low, four-centred arches supported on granite pillars. The entrance is a south porch; a north door has been blocked. A bell-turret at the west-end of the church contains one bell. The register of baptisms date from 1616, and marriages and burials from 1617.

in late C19. Stone rubble with ashlar stone north aisle which has a moulded plinth.
Slate roof with gable ends, the nave and chancel in one.
Plan: Nave and chancel, 4-bay north aisle, south porch and a bellcote at the west

heads and the eastern window with cusped heads. 3-light Perpendicular east window
and C19 west window. The chancel has a 3-light window with restored intersecting
tracery; the granite lintel is carved with an inscription 'ANNO DOMINO 1574 BY WLG'
the south wall of the nave and chancel has a 3-light hollow chamfered mullion window
and a 2-light mullion window to west of the porch. The gabled porch has two reset
circa late C15 mutliple moulded granite jambs to the entrance, the lintel above
probably in place of an arch and there is a carved floral motif above in the gable.
C15 waggon roof with carved bosses. The inner south door has a square headed frame
with blind niche above and a circa C17 double lapped door with strap hinges and early
door handle.
Interior: C19 roofs to nave, chancel and north aisle. The walls are plastered.
Granite arcade of 4 bays to north aisle with type A (Pevsner) piers with accentuated
cavetto moulding, moulded bases and capitals and moulded segmental arches. C19
furnishings, pulpit and altar rails and early C19 panelling in chancel. Simple Holy
