Geocache Description:

A simple displaced multi-cache - due to the presence of nearby final hides.

You will need to bring your own writing implement and, perhaps, tweezers.

The Church

The church was built in 1876 to serve a growing population but leaving the old parish church of All Saints to fall into disrepair. Christ Church is the large church you can see beside the main road while All Saints is tucked away behind with an entrance off Low Green.

The new CHRIST CHURCH consists of chancel with south vestry, nave of five bays with north and south aisles, south porch and tower and spire in the angle of the north aisle and chancel. There is also a western narthex forming a second porch. The building is of stone in the style of the 14th century with slated roofs. At the east end of the south aisle are the three pre-Conquest fragments already mentioned.
