Je vous propose un parcours dans le Nord Isère dans l'ancienne communauté de communes des Balcons du Rhône, ensuite intégrée dans l'Isle-Crémieu, et aujourd'hui dans la communauté de communes "les balcons du Dauphiné". Le parcours se fait au pied du Plateau de Crémieu (sans y grimper) jusqu'au Rhône sur des chemins, des petites routes, et la piste cyclable "la Via Rhona" construite en 2019-2020. Il peut se faire à pied ou à VTT (terrain souvent plat 
, mais avec quand même quelques montées par moments). Vous pourrez garer votre voiture près des coordonnées indiquées par le point d'interrogation 
. N'oubliez pas de prendre un stylo et une pince à épiler, cela pourra être nécessaire pour certaines caches !
Vous passerez dans les villages de Hières-sur-Amby (avec ses hameaux de Saint Etienne d'Hières et Bourcieu) ainsi qu'à Vernas. Vous aurez parfois quelques caches d'autres géocacheurs sur ou à proximité du parcours. Vous pourrez admirer différents paysages : villages, champs, bois, le Rhône, la centrale nucléaire aussi (même s'il y a plus sympa ^^).
Attention, ceci n’est pas une « petite » randonnée, il vaut mieux prévoir plus d'une demi-journée si vous faites le parcours à pied (environ 12km). Vous pourrez bien sûr faire le parcours en plusieurs fois : des petites routes permettent de couper la boucle et de revenir vers Hières-sur-Amby ou Vernas. Des parkings existent à Vernas (avec des tables de pique-nique, cf caches 16 et 17), à Vernas près de la route départementale (cf cache 12), à Bourcieu (cf cache 18), Saint Etienne d'Hières (cf caches 4 et 6 près de la route départementale) et Hières-sur-Amby.
Le parcours peut être déconseillé en été en cas de chaleur, en particulier sur la Via Rhona où il n'y a pas d'ombre. A noter également la présence possible, selon la saison, de chasseurs sur votre parcours, et d'animaux peu sympathiques (moustiques, tiques...). Prudence quand vous vous promènerez sur les routes, et enfin merci de respecter l'environnement !

I offer you a course in the North Isère in the old community of towns called "Les Balcons du Rhône" (balconies of the Rhône River), then incorporated in the Isle-Crémieu, and now in the community of towns called "les balcons du Dauphiné". The course is at the foot of the Plateau of Crémieu (without climbing it) to the Rhône River with paths, small roads, and the cycle path "la Via Rhona" built in 2019-2020. It can be done on foot or mountain bike (often flat ground, but with still some rises at times). You can park your car near the coordinates indicated by the question mark .Don't forget to take a pencil and tweezers, it may be necessary for some caches !
You will pass the villages of Hières-sur-Amby (with its hamlets of Saint Etienne d'Hières and Bourcieu) and Vernas. You may have some caches from other geocachers on or near the course. You can admire different landscapes : villages, fields, woods, Rhône River, nuclear power station (even if there is more fun ^^).
Be careful, this is not a "small" hike, it is better to provide more of a half-day if you make the course on foot (abour 12km). You can of course make the course several times : small roads can cut the loop and make it possible to return to Hières-sur-Amby or Vernas. There are other Parkings in Vernas (with picnic tables, see caches 16 and 17), Vernas next to the main road (see cache 12), in Bourcieu (see cache 18), Saint Etienne d'Hières (see caches 4 and 6 near the main road) and Hières-sur-Amby.
The course may be not recommended in summer in case of heat, especially on the Via Rhona where there is no shade. Also note the possible presence, according to season, hunters on your course, and unsympathetic animals (mosquitoes, ticks ...). Be careful when you will walk on the roads and, finally, thank you to respect the environment !
THERE ARE TWO BONUS CACHES FOR THIS ROUTE. THESE CACHES ARE NOT AT THE COORDINATES INDICATED BY THE QUESTION MARK , THEY MAY BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE COURSE. FOR THE BONUS2 CACHE, AT FIRST YOU MUST FIND CLUES D,E,F PRESENT IN THE CACHES OF THE ITINERARY.
