There is a notice board at the entrance to Cranford Park which displays a closing time of 1600. I have been to the park three times recently, at 1700, 2030 and 2245 and found the park open on each occaision. I asked a local dog walker whether the park does indeed close? His reply was that, "It seems to depend upon who is doing it. The man in the white van will sound his horn if there is a vehicle in the car park."

Please consider the possibility that the park sometimes closes at dusk or thereabouts.
