Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of ten Church Micros in the Northern section of Brighton & Hove, leading to a Bonus. In order to complete the Bonus cache, you will need to collect a clue at each of the locations. These are not in the caches themselves, but in or near the grounds of the places of worship.

St. John the Evangelist. This very long, stone-built church with a narrow fleche (lead-covered timber spire) and lancet windows was designed by Arthur Blomfield in 1902 and built by James Longley & Company. The stone building, faced with rock, has a chancel (added in 1926), 5¼-bay nave with aisles, vestry and carved stone reredos (alterpiece). It has been the parish church of Preston Village since 1908.

At this church, the clue for the Bonus is found on a notice close to the cache. You will need the telephone number for the vicar = 555F33.
