This is a Little Bridges dash'n cache, in a lovely, unexpected bit of countryside, hidden between housing estates. A perfect place to take a stroll among the trees, following the little stream. The unusual colour of the water further along the walkway is due to iron oxide, which turns it orange. A very long time ago a foundry was active in this area.
There is roadside parking nearby.
The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire.
