Geocache Description:

The parish church of St Michael and All Angels in Bricklehampton, Worcestershire.

The parish church of St Michael and All Angels in Bricklehampton, Worcestershire. This hamlet has the longest place name in England without a letter repeated - please don't write in if you find one longer!

The nave is Norman with a 12th century south doorway and font. The whole was restored in 1875 by Henry Woodyer in a typical Victorian fashion which included the installation of windows by noted stained glass suppliers, Kempe and Hardman. The building is Grade II listed.

The village has a population of about 200. On the south side is Bricklehampton Hall, a large country house built in the Italianate style in 1848 and now a care home. There has been little modern building.

The cache is a small, camouflaged, clip-top box with room for a trackable. Watch out for the steps in the churchyard which are very slippy in the wet. Parking is available at the roadside outside the church.
